Today’s event at St Andrew’s School, Turi, Nakuru County was a great success! We delivered 6,600 indigenous tree seedlings, which will be planted in the school starting next week. This marks another major step in our mission to restore degraded landscapes and combat climate change.
A huge thank you to all our partners and participants who made this possible! Your support and collaboration are vital in ensuring the success of our restoration efforts. By working together, we can make a lasting impact on the environment and future generations.
Among those present were GROOTS Kenya, The Nature Conservancy Kenya, Molo NGCDF, Kenya Forest Service (KFS), Mau Conservancy, St Andrew’s School, Turi, FarmLife Health Services Ltd, and National Government Administrative Officers (NGAO). Your commitment to environmental conservation is truly commendable.
This initiative is part of the larger Great Rift Valley Land Restoration Movement, which focuses on forest conservation and sustainable food systems. We are committed to greening our landscapes, protecting biodiversity, and building climate resilience.
Letβs keep the momentum going as we work towards a greener and healthier future for all! ππ±
